Dee’s Crab Triangles

Throw on your caftan, pour a long g & t, and put on some Burt Bacharach

I know, I know, the ingredient list sounds unthinkable…but just try it…go on, you know you want to.

Combine butter & cheese over heat in the top of a double saucepan. Remove from heat when melted and mixed.

Add mayonnaise, crab, onion, pepper, salts and mix well.

Place muffin halves on trays and spread mixture on top - place trays in the freezer for 2 hours.

Remove and cut into quarters. At this stage, either pop straight into oven at 180 degrees, until golden and bubbly on top, or place quarters into freezer bags and freeze until the next unsuspecting guest pops in for drink…

Cheese in a jar sounds strangely compelling.
